Monday, January 24th, 2022—Join Syracuse Academy of Science Charter Schools as we participate in National School Choice Week. Throughout this week, elementary school Atoms will have an opportunity to participate in various activities and events, such as learning the official National School Choice Week dance (click here) and wearing yellow on Tuesday (01/25). Before we get started, let's take a look at what is School Choice.

"School choice is the process of allowing every family to choose the K-12 educational options that best fit their children. Every child is unique, and all children learn differently.

This week, we will be celebrating our students, parents, teachers, and staff. We encourage prospective students and families to learn all about what Syracuse Academy of Science Charter Schools offers! There are many reasons families, teachers, and staff choose SAS.

Monday, January 17th, 2022—We celebrate the life and legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He believed in equality, freedom, and dignity for all people. His dream envisioned that all children would receive equal access to quality education, and here at SANY, we are committed to inspiring and preparing all our Atoms to succeed!

In observance of this holiday, there will be no school on Monday, January 17^th. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 18^th. Enjoy this long weekend, Atoms!

Saturday, January 1st, 2022—Let's count it down, Atoms! 3, 2, 1 ... Happy New Year! "Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and days of auld lang syne?"

A new year, a new you and of course no school today too! In observance of New Year's Day there will be no school on Saturday, January 1^st 2022. We look forward to seeing the Atoms on Monday, January 3^rd, 2022.

Friday, December 24th, 2021—Attention Syracuse Academy of Science Charter School families: As a friendly reminder, Winter Recess officially kicks-off on Friday, December 24^th, and will continue through Friday, December 31^st. During Winter Recess, there will be no school for Syracuse Academy of Science Charter Schools. We look forward to welcoming back the Atoms on Monday, January 3^rd, 2022!

Tuesday, November 30th, 2021—Share the love of reading by visiting Syracuse Academy of Science elementary school's Scholastic Book Fair on Tuesday, November 30^th and Wednesday, December 1^st from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the school cafeteria.

Guests will have an opportunity to peruse exclusive titles, new releases, discover value packs and so much more. Did you know that every purchase benefits Syracuse Academy of Science elementary school, and will help develop a love of reading?
