SAS HS Robotics Team Wins First Place in CNY Steamboat Challenge

Syracuse Academy of Science High School Wins 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place in CNY Steamboat Challenge

Saturday, October 14th, 2023: The Syracuse Academy of Science High School Robotics team did it again! On Saturday, October 14th, the team attended the CNY Steamboat Challenge tournament at the Museum of Science & Technology. Nine teams and 18 students were challenged to construct a miniature working steamboat. Teams were judged based on fastest race time, boat design, knowledge of STEM principles, aesthetics/ creativity, and teamwork. Our Atoms crushed the competition, earning first, second, and third places in the high school division!!
