The Syracuse Academy of Science Charter School is a college preparatory junior/senior high school. Students are required to complete one unit of credit in a foreign language by the end of their freshman year or pass the New York State Proficiency Exam.
SASCS Community Service To graduate, students at SAS must complete 20 hours of community. The goals of the community service program are to increase students’ perception of self-worth, provide experiences for students to contribute to society, and prepare students for the world of work. ________________________________________ [1] An integrated course in mathematics/science/technology may be used as the third required unit of credit in mathematics or science.
