SASCS 1st Annual Liberal Arts Fair PDF Print E-mail

One of SASCS’s major goals is to provide students with the confidence and interpersonal skills for a successful transition into adulthood and into society as productive and responsible citizens. Through its highly specialized curriculum, SASCS also aims to produce career-driven young leaders with the preparation and drive to achieve their goals. SASCS believes that the Liberal Arts Fair and Exhibition is one of the most important parts of this process.

In addition to self-expression, our school focuses on helping students achieve the highest level of success in the areas of Science, Art, Language Arts and Social Studies to fill the gap that might exist in their education. We are also strengthening the future of America by instilling a sense of achievement, patriotism and citizenship in our students.

On December 11, there were over 240 projects and exhibits in subjects including History, Literature, Music, and Art. "Students gain a greater appreciation of their history and culture by engaging in original, hands-on research, writing, representation, and reenactment of the events that have helped to shape their national heritage as well as contemporary problems whose origins are traceable to the aforementioned events." SASCS Staff, Students and Parents are very  grateful for our Judges time, effort and commitment to art. We commend all of them for playing an important role in helping us increase the number of diverse students who enter the Liberal Arts arena.
