Syracuse Academy of Science Charter School

On Thursday December 17th, 2009 SAS was visited by newly elected common council president Van Robinson was a great role model for SAS students with his inspiring words he encouraged SASCS students to look beyond their limits..  Mr. Robinson spoke to a group of students on the importance of staying in school and getting an education.  Mr. Robinson gave examples of people who applied for jobs but were denied them due to lack of educational background. He also told students how he was able to become a successful person in life despite obstacles he faced as growing up.  Mr. Robinson left our school with a lasting message that to get ahead in life we need to have a good education.
