First-Grade #SASAtoms Visit The Wild Animal Park

On Wednesday, May 30, 2018, our first-grade #SASAtoms enjoyed a hot day at The Wild Animal Park. They spent the day walking through interactive exhibits, feeding and petting Jace and Jasmine, the extremely friendly giraffes, watching a tiger feeding show, and enjoying an alligator presentation. The students socialized with zoo staff and asked lots of questions about the animals. They learned quite a few facts, such as tigers spend the majority of their lives sleeping, giraffes like to give their teachers kisses if they have carrots in their hands, lions still roar at us even from their cages, and alligators eat chicken bones because they help keep their teeth clean!
