SASCS Celebrate Muffins with Mom

SASCS hosted Muffins with Mom event

Friday, May 10, 2019—'Super Mom' comes in many forms. From mothers to grandmothers to female figures in our Atom's lives. Muffins with Mom is a time honored tradition at Syracuse Academy of Science Charter elementary school to celebrate and thank these role models for all that they do. The scholars created special gifts to give to the 'queen of their heart', decorated the classroom and enjoyed an afternoon filled with quality time, and of course muffins.

#SASCS Atoms Visit Rochester

Wednesday, May 1, 2019—#SASCS High school students made a trip to the Rochester area to visit the following schools: St. John Fisher, University of Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Monroe Community College. Students also toured the attractions of the region, including High Falls and the RiverWalk in Corn Hill. Both areas overlook the Genesee River, which runs through the heart of Rochester. These visits help our Atoms gain a better understanding of what specific colleges have to offer, and are just one of the ways we are building success one ATOM at a time.

This visit afforded students the opportunity to see and hear what is involved in entering into a legal profession.
