Syracuse Academy of Science elementary school welcomed virtual guest speaker, Detective Terell who spoke with the Atoms about why he wanted to become a detective in the city of Syracuse.

Thursday, February 4th, 2021Syracuse Academy of Science elementary school kicks-off Black History Month with virtual guest speaker, Detective Terell. Detective Terell spoke with the Atoms about why he chose to become a detective in the city of Syracuse, read a short story called, Hair Love, and created a mini detective lesson. In the mini detective lesson, Atoms were tasked with following the clues with Detective Terell’s help to solve the puzzle! I think we might have some sleuths on our hands. Thank you Detective Terell for taking the time to speak with the Atoms and sharing why you wanted to become a detective in the city of Syracuse, and for the fun hands-on detective lesson!
