Atoms’ Artwork selected for Legislative Art Show

Syracuse Academy of Science elementary school students, Amelia D. and Daniel A. both had their artwork selected to be displayed at the 2021 Virtual Legislative Art Show.

Friday, February 12th, 2021Syracuse Academy of Science is excited to share that two of its elementary school Atoms’ artwork has been selected to be displayed at the 2021 virtual Legislative Art Show. Congratulations to 1st grade student, Daniel Allen and 4th grade student Amelia Destitio for having their pieces selected. Daniel’s piece is titled ‘Scribble Monster’ and Amelia’s piece is titled, ‘Symmetrical Crayon Rubbing. Both students will have their artwork displayed in the spring at the Legislative Office Building in Albany, New York. 

The Legislative Art Show is a 31 year tradition by the New York State Art Teachers Association. Congratulations to Daniel and Amelia, and for art teacher Ms. Alonso-Bergevin for making this possible!
