Black History Month - High School

In honor of Black History Month, the Syracuse Academy of Science high school students in the social justice committee create works of art that celebrate African American achievements.

Friday, February 26th, 2021Throughout the month of February, Syracuse Academy of Science celebrated Black History Month. Students in elementary, middle and high school observed the month by learning about contributions African Americans have made to this country. Today, we share the work created by the high school Atoms in the Social Justice Committee. Their posters highlight a celebration of various African American achievements. These achievements include the following:
