Monday, April 26th, 2021—In honor of National Poetry Month, Syracuse Academy of Science elementary school hosted its annual Poetry Slam virtually this year. Throughout the month, the students have been working diligently learning about the various types of poetry, and submitted a poem for this year’s Poetry Slam. The theme was, ‘What Makes Me and Amazing Kid.’
We would like to give a quick shout out and snaps to Ms. Irvine who helped narrate the poems written by the talented Atoms, and for all those who helped make this event possible.
