Syracuse Police Officers Provide a Lesson in Safety

On Thursday, December 6, 2018, our kindergartners in Ms. Figueroa's class had a visit from two Syracuse City Police Officers. The officers focused on safety and discussed the proper clothing to wear if you're playing outside when it's dark out, how to cross a street, and stranger danger.

Officers read the students the story "We are All Wonders" by R.J. Palacio, and talked to them about the value of being kind to everyone, and celebrating one another's differences. Building positive relationships with community figures is just one of the ways we are building success one ATOM at a time.
