Saturday, June 1, 2019—Three, two, one … blast off! Middle school Atoms compete in a challenge that was out of this world, the 17th Annual Central New York Rocket Challenge. Hosted by the MOST, teams were judged on the quality of their construction, knowledge of the subject, how well they estimated their trajectory, and whether or not their "eggstronaut" survived its ride into the sky. Unfortunately, none of our "eggstronauts" survived the journey. The competition was held at Syracuse University's Skytop Field.
