Read Across America Week

Friday, February 28, 2020—It's #ReadAcrossAmerica week! The middle school kicked off the celebrations last Friday by celebrating Dr. Seuss’ (belated) birthday! Students rotated between three different stations related to the books Horton Hatches the Egg, The Cat in the Hat, Oh the Places You’ll Go and The Lorax. The stations included reading and writing activities, STEM activities, and a video with activities about The Lorax. We would like to leave you with one of our favorite quotes that embodies what we hope for our students as they go into the world, “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” - The Lorax.
