Virtual Interview with Daniel Pontello

  • What is your favorite high school memory? My favorite high school memory is probably the field trips we went on with my Congressional group. Some of the best memories at SAS for me were freshman and sophomore year with Mr. Carver. We all were able to put all our problems aside and enjoy each other for who we really were and it was an amazing class led by an amazing teacher. Being on the basketball, football and soccer teams will also always be remembered. From going undefeated and going to the dome in football to making the playoffs in basketball and making all leagues for soccer was an amazing experience.
  • What are your plans for after graduation? After high-school I will be joining the U.S. Marine Corps with my friends Alonzo and Willie.
  • What are your goals for the future? My goals for the future are to serve my country and to be successful in everything and anything I do.
  • Who would you like to thank and why? I would like to thank my mom and stepdad, and my dad for always pushing me to be the best man I could be. I would also like to thank Mr. Carver and Mr. Serkan  for helping me get through high school whether that be school problems or personal problems, they were always there for me. I would also like to thank Coach Corn, Coach Steve, Coach Troy, and Coach Rodgers for helping me become a better athlete and a better man while providing me with a great Varsity experience that will never be forgotten.

Congratulations, Daniel, we are very proud of you and thank you for your future service for this country!
