SAS HS Senior Ball 2022

Syracuse Academy of Science high school seniors and juniors enjoyed an evening to remember at the Links at Erie Village for their annual Senior Ball.

Friday, May 13th, 2022"The whole place was dressed to the nines, and we were dancing like we're made of starlight." — Taylor Swift, "Starlight."

Syracuse Academy of Science high school seniors and juniors enjoyed an evening to remember at the Links at Erie Village for their annual Senior Ball. An evening that many of the upperclassmen look forward to and count down the days until it arrives. A night where everyone dresses from head to toe in glitz and glam and looks like royalty. From stretch limos to Slingshots to a night spent with friends, this is one of the many high school memories that the Atoms will cherish for a lifetime.

Congratulations to the Prom King Illyn McLaurin, Prom Queen J’Vionna Baker, Prom Prince Eliane Quiles and Prom Princess Janet Ginarte.

Congrats SASCS on Receiving a five-year Extension

Congratulations to the Syracuse Academy of Science Charter Schools on receiving their full five-year extension from New York State and the Board of Regents.

Wednesday, May 18th, 2022The Science Academies of New York (SANY) is excited to announce both Syracuse Academy of Science Charter Schools and Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship Charter Schools have received their full five-year extension. Receiving a five-year extension from New York State and the Board of Regents is a tremendous accomplishment and no easy feat. To receive a five-year full-term renewal and/or expansion from New York State and the Board of Regents, charter schools must show a high standard for academic success and financial integrity. All SANY Charter Schools since 2003 have always received a full five-year term. We are glad to see this tradition continuing this year with SAS and Citizenship.

In the 2022 - 2023 school year, Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship Charter School (SASCCS) families can look forward to welcoming students in grades 7-12th to its new location in Liverpool, New York, at the former Nate Perry Elementary School. This 27-acre campus will be the new home for the Atoms in grades 6-12th. The elementary school location will remain in Syracuse, New York. While we are Many Atoms, One Family, there will be a new name for SASCCS. The new name will be Citizenship & Science Academy of Syracuse Charter School (CSASCS).

We want to thank the leadership team for preparing all the detailed work and the excellent staff, students, and parents for always believing in us. We look forward to continuing to build success, One Atom at a time.
