Tuesday, April 16th, 2024: Attention, Syracuse Academy of Science Families: Due to the inclement weather day used on Thursday, February 29th, 2024, the school will be in session on Monday, April 29th, 2024 (originally designated as a Contingency Day).

Please remember that all SASCS schools and offices will be closed on Monday, May 27th, in observance of Memorial Day. In addition, because we did not use our allotted snow days for the school year, schools will be closed for all students and staff on Friday, May 24th, 2024, and Tuesday, May 28th, 2024!

Monday, March 25th, 2024: In March of 2021, President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan Act into law. Under this Act, funds were dedicated to schools to assist with closing learning gaps caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Three years later, we are holding a meeting with stakeholders to discuss how Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary used those funds. Families, staff, and community members are welcome to join us for that meeting on Monday, March 25th, at 4:30 pm.

Friday, February 16th, 2024: Attention Syracuse Academy of Science families: the school will be closed for President's Day on Monday, February 19th, and mid-winter break Monday through Friday, February 23rd. We look forward to welcoming students back on Monday, February 26th.
