Emily spoke with students in grades 9 -12 who were interested in learning more about a future career in engineering or becoming a civil engineer one day.
During her session, Emily shared what a day in the life of a civil engineer. For instance, Emily spoke about projects she has worked on, different avenues and projects civil engineers can work on such as building highways, supervising infrastructure projects, and more, and the various education and licensing requirements to become a civil engineer.
