High School Atoms take a Uno Study Break
Friday, June 3rd, 2022—As the Regents Exams kick off today, the Syracuse Academy of Science high school students were busy preparing, studying, and taking much-needed 'brain break,' or study break.
As a stress relief from all the 'exam cramming' students in grades, 8 -11th participated in an Uno tournament. Atoms played in a bracket system where the first two winners from each of the four groups advanced to the next round. These eight students would then play three final games with prizes awarded to students who placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Congratulations to the following Uno tournament winners.
1st Place: Theo Simon
2nd Place: Ar'Dierre Reed
3rd Place: Ibrahim Abdul-Qadir
Thank you to everyone who helped make this tournament possible! We wish all of our students the best of luck on their Regents Exams. You got this, Atoms!
