SAS HS Students win National & International Awards at CNYSEF
Saturday, April 1st, 2023: Syracuse Academy of Science High School students attended the Central New York Science And Engineering Fair. Atoms won several national and international awards and will represent our state at the Science Congress this year. Syracuse Academy of Science and Science Department Chair Dr. Ay were awarded the Peter Plumley Engaged Participation Award for the school whose students submitted the highest number of high-quality science fair projects in any division. All participants received a one-year membership to the MOST.

Grace O’Neill & Migual Mathis were chosen to attend the New York State Science Congress on June 11th. Grace, Miguel & Ale’la Gillard were selected for The RIT Genius Olympiad Awards, which recognizes achievement in promoting environmental issues and finding solutions to global environmental problems through scientific research, experimentation, and presentation. The winner will advance to the Genius Olympiad. Andre Mcclain was selected to attend the 19th Annual Symposium on Energy in the 21st Century, “Creating Resiliency for the Future with Cleaner, More Affordable Renewable Energy.”
