SASCS Atoms Explore Mexican Culture through Cuisine

Syracuse Academy of Science Middle school learn about Mexico's culture and cuisine

Wednesday, May 15, 2019—Cuisine is an important aspect of any country's culture. It plays an integral role in centering traditions, heritage, memories and more. As part of our fifth grade Atom's project based learning class, they had the opportunity to research Mexico and learn about its culture and cuisine. Scholars created a cookbook and presentation with the region's facts and shared their findings with an esteemed panel. Atoms will have the opportunity to prepare delicious dishes based on the recipes in their cookbook.
