Labels are not barriers in our thinking of services and instruction for our special education. Instead, Syracuse Academy sees students with special needs as part of the school’s cognitive diversity. Students with disabilities deserve access to deep learning experiences by engaging with others. Our resource services are administered by highly qualified, certified, special education teachers. The department provides programs and services as indicated on each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and leverages the parent-student-teacher triad to provide high quality education.
