Courting Success

On Wednesday, January 30, 2019, when Honorable Judge Derrek Thomas from Syracuse City Court came to #SASCS Middle School, the community leader spoke to Miss Bittel's 6th grade class about how hard work, dedication, and goal-setting can drive success. He shared examples of his own achievements through personal stories, emphasizing the importance of education. He sent a strong message to the students about the benefits of surrounding themselves with positive peers who make positive choices.
