Friday, April 17, 2020—Congratulations are in order for the following Atoms! ⚪ Owyn Blue ⚪ Umesh Dahal ⚪ Savanna McMullen ⚪ Zyreeanah Shepard ⚪ Kaina Vidal These scholars were all awarded the George H. Ball Community Achievement Award. The scholarship is named after the Keuka College founder, Rev. Dr. George Harvey Ball, whose vision is continued at Keuka College by educating young students and adult learners who “bring strength to our nation and to help humanity” through combined classroom and experiential learning. This award includes a $10,000 annual scholarship for a total of $40,000. Congrats, Atoms!
Wednesday, April 8, 2020— Syracuse City Fire Fighter, Kelly Wilcox paid a virtual visit to our elementary atoms. She read one of her daughter's favorite books called Dinosaurs Love Underpants to our students. Thank you, Ms. Wilcox, for your time and ongoing dedication to our school. We truly appreciate all that you and your department do for our community.
