School Messaging & Notification System

As part of the enrollment process, parents/guardians are automatically enrolled in the Science Academies of New York (SANY) messaging and notification system. This system allows the district and individual schools to send important, time-sensitive information directly to families.

Messages may include:

• School closings or delays due to weather or emergencies
• Attendance notifications
• Event reminders and parent meetings
• Academic updates and enrollment information
• Safety alerts or urgent communications

By providing your contact information during registration, you consent to receive these communications by phone, text message, and/or email. This consent remains active while your child is enrolled in a SANY school.

Parents/guardians may opt out of non-emergency text messages at any time by replying STOP to a received message, or by contacting the school’s main office. Please note that certain critical notifications (such as emergency alerts) will continue to be sent as required for student safety.
