Monday, August 21st, 2024: This week, Deans, curriculum coordinators, and coaches are participating in an intensive training on the Marzano "New Art and Science of Teaching" framework held at Syracuse Academy of Science High School. Dr. Melanie Magee, a coach, consultant, and presenter from Marzano Resources, led the training. The sessions' primary focus is effectively using the Marzano framework to coach teachers and improve instructional practices. Key areas covered include direct instruction and strategies for increasing student engagement, which have been reviewed in depth to enhance teaching quality across SANY schools.

From late-night study sessions to unforgettable moments with friends, they have made memories that will last a lifetime. Together, they’ve achieved so much and grown into the amazing young adults they are today. This is just the beginning! Before they embark on this new chapter in their stories, let’s take a moment to celebrate their journey and look forward to the bright futures ahead.

Thursday, August 1st, 2024: This summer, Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary School Atoms had an amazing time at our Summer Art Enrichment Program! The students explored various art techniques and mediums, creating beautiful artwork and spending time indoors and outdoors. Our scholars truly had a blast!

Thursday, May 30th, 2024: Syracuse Academy of Science Middle School students enjoyed a night of games, crafts, and pizza. It was a great way to let loose after a month of testing!
