Tuesday, March 19th, 2024: Syracuse Academy of Science High School is a college prep school. Our mission is to graduate college-ready and civic-minded students, emphasizing high-quality instruction and a curriculum that has been developed to allow every student to attend college. As part of our comprehensive College Prep program, a group of eager High School juniors attended the highly anticipated National Association for College Counseling (NACAC) college fair. This invaluable opportunity allowed our ambitious scholars to engage directly with representatives from various colleges across the United States! Amidst the vibrant atmosphere of the fair, our students jumped on the chance to glean insights, ask questions, and forge connections that will shape their collegiate journey.

Remember when Everly finished 3rd place at our school spelling bee? She continued to shine, progressing through the online rounds and earning her spot in the Final Regional Bee hosted by the Post-Standard/Syracuse.com!
This is an outstanding achievement, considering Everly was the lone 4th grader to advance to this level! Though she faced tough competition, Everly's remarkable journey saw her through to the 2nd round, ultimately securing an impressive 17th place in the county!
Congratulations, Everly! Your school family couldn't be prouder of your dedication and accomplishments! ‘
Friday, March 22nd, 2024: Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary School celebrated 4th graders for their efforts on last year's NYS ELA and Math tests. Terra Science and Education provided gift cards for students who achieved 3's and/or 4's on their tests.
This year, we passed out the most awards ever, with 33 students being recognized! Four of those scholars received a four on BOTH tests!
School Dean Mrs. Miller also has an important message for all Atoms: Even if they didn't get an award this year, and even if they don't get one next year, as long as every student tries their best, we are always going to be so proud of them.
Great job, students!
