SAS Middle is Shining the Spotlight on 7th-Grader Jayda James

SAS Middle School Student Spotlight

Thursday, February 2nd, 2023: Let's kick off winter recess with a student spotlight! Seventh-grade student Jayda James became the 7th-grade social studies teacher and taught a lesson to her classmates on how power is divided in the United States government. Jayda was able to hold her classmate's attention as she walked them through the role of the legislative, executive, and judicial branches. This lesson was our student's first step into becoming involved and informed citizens!

Great job leading the lesson, Jayda!

She holds several roles at SANY, including Reading Specialist, Intervention Coordinator, and Academic Coach. Mrs. Georgiadis-Greenwald graduated from SUNY Oswego. Her family inspires her. She says they have helped her become who she is and motivated her to be the best person to make them proud. Thank you for all that you do, Mrs. Georgiadis-Greenwald!
