Those Winter Days before … Winter Recess!

Syracuse Academy of Science 7th grade students enjoyed a field trip of ice skating at the Clinton Square Ice Rink

Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021Winter Recess may have been just around the corner, but the Syracuse Academy of Science 7th grade Atoms said, ‘but first, let’s go ice skating!’

The Atoms braved the winter elements on their recent field trip to the Clinton Square Ice Rink where teamwork, positivity, and resilience were on full display. For many of the students, this was their first time ever ice skating. In true Atoms fashion, they helped one another find or regain their balance both on and off the ice, and of course were always there to lend a helping hand in case anyone fell.

By the end of this outdoor excursion, the students were certainly skating like professionals. We may have even noticed a few spin moves here and there! Please click here to visit our Facebook page to view more pictures from the 7th grade Syracuse Academy of Science middle school Atoms' field trip to the Clinton Square Ice Rink.
