10th Parent Notification - 1/15/2025
Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
While awaiting approval for the building's reopening, our instructional team has been working collaboratively to prepare for the upcoming NYS January Regents Examinations.
The January 2025 Regents schedule is available for students who need to retake a Regents exam for graduation requirements. Students should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Students who arrive late to the exam may not be permitted to take it. An alternate location has been planned at our SANY district office conference center, adjacent to our high school campus.
As a required part of the January Earth Science Regents exam, there will also be an Earth Science practical exam this Thursday, January 16th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the SANY Conference Center located behind the District Office at 1409 W. Genesee St., Syracuse, NY 13204. To enter the Conference Center, please drive or walk (there is a gate for pedestrians) through the black gate and proceed into the parking lot next to the high school. Look for the glass door at the rear of the District Office. Please be sure to bring your fully-charged Chromebook and a pencil to the practical exam. Completion of the practical exam is required before students can take the Earth Science Regents exam itself.
The January Earth Science Regents exam will be held on Tuesday, January 21st from 12:45 pm to 3:45 pm in the SANY Conference Center located at 1409 W. Genesee St. Please plan to arrive promptly at 12:30 pm with a pencil to write with, ready to listen to directions. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Kovar at
We look forward to seeing you in person at the SANY Conference Center this Thursday, January 16th, at 9:00 am for the Earth Science practical exam!
All other academic instruction will remain online until we can ascertain a safe date to reopen the building. Students in grades 8-12 are receiving asynchronous online instruction. In this learning model, teachers post assignments in Google Classrooms, and students complete the work by the assigned due date. Each teacher has online hours to support student learning throughout this instructional period.
Students are encouraged to log in and get academic support from our instructional staff. All students are required to sign in for attendance by using the Google form that was emailed to them.
If your child needs access to a computer or charger, please email
