Response to Spectrum News - 1/7/2025

We can confirm that the Syracuse Academy of Science Charter School High School Building will be closed tomorrow due to the recent carbon monoxide incident. To ensure that our high school students continue their education during this time, we will be conducting asynchronous online learning sessions on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

In response to the incident, we are thoroughly re-inspecting all kitchen equipment and devices to ensure there is no danger to our students and staff. These checks are being conducted to comply fully with the Division of Code Enforcement's requirements.

We are actively working with the relevant companies to diligently and promptly complete the necessary safety checks. We are dedicated to maintaining transparency with our community and will continue to provide updates on our progress.
