SAS Students Win Aquarium Naming Contest


Tuesday, April 13th, 2026: Big news at Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary! On April 14, we welcomed County Executive Ryan McMahon for a special visit and an even more exciting announcement.

Two of our SAS Atoms, Cailin and Riley, were named winners of a county-wide contest to help name the new Onondaga County Aquarium!

Join us as we celebrate this incredible achievement and recognize our students for their creativity and hard work.
