SAS 1st Graders take a Reptilian Adventure

Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary Scholars Learn about Natural Habitats at Little Rays Nature Center

Friday, March 21st, 2025: While we might not have seen lions, tigers, or bears, our Syracuse Academy of Science first graders embarked on an equally thrilling adventure! The Atoms visited Little Ray's Nature Center at Destiny USA, where they got up close and personal with real reptiles and other fascinating creatures.

The day was filled with hands-on learning and excitement as the students explored exhibits featuring snakes, lizards, bugs, and spiders. This crowd-favorite field trip offered them a unique opportunity to discover the wonders of the animal kingdom, sparking curiosity and inspiring a deeper appreciation for nature.
