Monday, May 4th, 2026: During the final two weeks of April, Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary proudly hosted its annual school-wide food drive to support the Food Bank of Central New York. At the conclusion of the drive, Ms. Cahalan accompanied a group of eight students to personally deliver the donated items. While there, the students had the opportunity to tour the facility and gain a deeper understanding of how their efforts directly support individuals and families in need within the community.

In total, SAS collected an impressive 525 pounds of food, equivalent to approximately 400 meals, highlighting the generosity and collective impact of our school community. Great job, Atoms!
