SAS ES Visits the Zoo
Wednesday, December 18th, 2024: Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary School’s 4th-grade scholars had an exciting adventure at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo! The day was filled with hands-on learning and unforgettable moments that brought everyone smiles.
Thanks to the warmer weather, our SAS Atoms enjoyed an up-close look at the majestic tigers, making for some truly memorable encounters. The fun didn’t stop there! Students explored the pretend vet clinic, where they learned about animal care in a hands-on environment. They also had the opportunity to meet and observe various incredible animals up close, sparking curiosity and a deeper appreciation for wildlife.
This Field Trip Friday was another wonderful example of combining education with fun, and we’re so grateful to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo for hosting us.
