SAS HS Robotics Team Launches into 2025-2026 Season

FTC Opener Starts 2025-26 Season at MVCC

Saturday, September 6th, 2025: The Syracuse Academy of Science High School robotics team joined fellow competitors at the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Kickoff Event, which was hosted at Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) in Utica. This exciting event marked the official start of the 2025–2026 FTC season and unveiled this year’s game, DECODE.

The team explored the game materials and rules throughout the day, gaining valuable insight into their challenges this season. Students also had the opportunity to collaborate with other teams, share ideas, and begin brainstorming innovative designs for their new robot.

We can’t wait to see the creativity, teamwork, and determination our Atoms bring to this year’s competitions!
