SAS Leaders Attend New York State Charter Schools Conference

New York State Charter School Conference Brings Together Leaders from over 300 Charter Schools

Thursday, October 16th, 2025: Syracuse Elementary School Dean Meghan Miller and SAS High School Dean Pam Geremski attended the New York State Charter Schools Conference in Rochester.

The New York Charter Schools Association (NYCSA) connects over 300 public charter schools, fostering unity and advocating for their needs. This year’s annual conference brought together approximately 400 charter school leaders across New York for an inspiring day of learning, collaboration, and professional growth; all focused on strengthening leadership and enhancing support for school communities.

Conference highlights included school tours and valuable networking opportunities that encouraged participants to share ideas, build connections, and celebrate the collective impact of charter education in New York State.
