Syracuse Academy of Science STEAM Club Attends Future Women in STEM Event

Saturday, November 2nd, 2024: The Syracuse Academy of Science Middle School STEAM Club girls took on an exciting challenge at The Museum of Science and Technology!

The Task was to build a structure out of spaghetti and marshmallows that could withstand a simulated earthquake and hold the most weight. Their creation held 1.25 pounds and remained rock solid during the quake simulation, earning it a spot as one of the two most structurally sound designs!

Way to go, future engineers! You’re building a strong foundation for success!
