Saturday, December 7th, 2024: The Syracuse Academy of Science Middle School STEAM Club has embraced hands-on learning and discovered new skills every Saturday at The Museum of Science & Technology (The MOST)! These sessions have been an exciting journey into the world of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, filled with creativity and innovation.
On Saturday, December 7th, the SAS Atoms explored the fascinating world of circuits. They successfully created one that played the "Happy Birthday" song and another that powered an LED light capable of changing colors.
The STEAM Club participated in the Future Women in STEM event the following Saturday. The students had the incredible opportunity to learn about plastics from Tessy Manufacturing experts. They even created their own custom plastic keychains, gaining a deeper understanding of material science and manufacturing processes.
Keep up the fantastic work, STEAM Club—we can’t wait to see what you’ll accomplish next!
