SAS Robotics Team Earns First Place at FTC Buffalo Qualifier

Syracuse Academy of Science High School Robotics Team Advances to Regional Excelsior Championship

Sunday, January 19th, 2025: We are thrilled to celebrate the Syracuse Academy of Science robotics team, "New Wave," for their outstanding victory at the First Tech Challenge (FTC) Buffalo Qualifier held at Buffalo Academy of Science! This incredible achievement has secured their spot in the FTC MVCC Regional Excelsior Championship in Utica on Sunday, March 9th!

In addition to their first-place win, the team received the Think Award, which recognizes excellence in the Engineering Portfolio.

Thank you to Mr. Kovar for his dedication and support throughout the season. His guidance has played a crucial role in the team's success!
