Students and Staff Wear Yellow to Celebrate School Choice at SAS ES

Friday, January 30th, 2026: Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary School proudly celebrated National School Choice Week by highlighting the importance of educational opportunity and choice. Throughout the week, students and staff showed their school pride by wearing yellow, the official color of School Choice Week, to represent their commitment to learning and the power of choosing a school that best fits their needs.

The celebration served as a reminder of SAS’s mission to provide a high-quality, student-centered education that prepares scholars for college, career, and citizenship. By participating in School Choice Week, the SAS community joined schools across the country in recognizing the value of options that empower families and support student success.
