Wednesday, November 15th, 2023: Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary is holding Literacy Night on Thursday, November 16th! We look forward to seeing students and families for an evening of literacy fun.

Friday, November 10th, 2023: There is no school today in Honor of Veteran's Day. We are showing our appreciation to the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country. Let's take a moment to honor the sacrifices and remember that freedom is never free. We are forever thankful for those who have served and given us the freedom to thrive.

Monday, September 18th, 2023: Smile, Atoms! Tuesday, September 19th is picture day for 5th-7th grade. Wednesday, September 20th is picture day for 8th-12th grade.

Uniforms must still be worn. 

Monday, September 11th, 2023: Today, we remember the victims and heroes of 9/11. We recognize the selfless actions of the first responders who put their lives on the line to save others. We remember the bravery of the passengers on Flight 93, who put their lives at risk to protect citizens on the ground. We recognize the tragedy and grief of all those who lost loved ones on that fateful day. 

Take some time for reflection on this day that changed our nation forever. Let us always remember.

Thursday, July 27th, 2023: Parents, we need your help to make our school healthier!

Children spend most of their day at school. So, it’s important that they have healthy foods and drinks while they are here. Good nutrition helps fuel kids' bodies and minds to help them learn better at school. Our school wellness policy tells how our school makes the healthy choice easy.

Friday, July 21st, 2023: School might not be in session, but Syracuse Academy of Science families can still stop by any Empower Federal Credit Union branch to make their Dollar Dog deposits. While there, they’ll also have a chance to see what the credit union looks like, try the coin-counting machines, receive a reward for saving, and more!

Thursday, July 20th, 2023: The Syracuse Academy of Science Student Handbook is now available for the 2023-24 school year. The safety of our students and staff is our main priority, so please make sure you take time to read through our policies and procedures before returning to the classroom. Monday, July 17th, 2023: Believe it or not, the first day of school is just around the corner! A reminder that if you need to order a new school uniform, now is the time to do it. Orders can take up to 14 business days. Any orders received after August 18th might be delivered after the start of the school year.
