Monday, July 3rd, 2023: Did you know your child can have access to healthy meals and snacks when school is not in session? The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federally-funded, state-administered program. Children 18 years and younger may receive free meals and snacks through SFSP. Children receive either one or two reimbursable meals at most sites each day. Certain camps and locations may be approved to serve up to three meals a day.

Thursday, June 8th, 2023: Heads up, art fans! Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary School’s Art Night will be in the gym on Thursday, June 8th, from 5-7 pm. Yearbooks will also be for sale at the event for $10 cash.

Students are invited with their families to view artwork and maybe create a few pieces of their own. We hope to see you there!

Thursday, May 25th, 2023: Good news! The Science Academies of New York Charter Schools are celebrating 20 years of growth and success in Syracuse! We are so thankful to be able to provide families with high-quality STEM-based education for the last two decades, and we can’t wait to celebrate our accomplishments together with our staff, alumni, families, and community members! 

We can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Monday, May 15th, 2023: Spring is in the air, and so is Syracuse Academy of Science High School’s annual Spring Music Concert & Art Show! Celebrate a hard year's worth of hard work by student musicians and artists. The event is free to attend and open to all. 

Join us Monday, May 15th, in the High School gym located at 1001 Park Avenue.

Friday, May 5th, 2023: Not all superheroes wear capes! May 5th is Lunch Heroes Day, and at Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary School, we are serving up some love for our cafeteria staff! Join us in saying "Thanks bunches for the lunches" to the wonderful people providing us with nutritious meals daily!

Monday, April 3rd, 2023: Happy Spring Recess! This is a friendly reminder that Syracuse Academy of Science will be closed from Monday, April 3rd, through Friday, April 7th, for Spring Recess. We look forward to welcoming Atoms back on Monday, April 10th.
