Coffee is brewing for our project-based learning (PBL) families. Starting January 11, our Dean, Mr. Cetin, will hold monthly conversation sessions with PBL parents who would like to visit and chat with him. Each session will run from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. in our school library.  

#SASCS Elementary will be holding its annual Toy Drive from Monday, December 17th, until end of day Thursday, December 20th. Please donate new unopened toys. All toys will be donated to the Rescue Mission for families in need. Every student who brings in one toy will receive a dress-down pass. If students bring in three or more toys, they will receive two dress-down passes. Extra copies of our Toy Drive flyer can be found in our main office.

Due to a water main break, #SASCS High School Students will be dismissed at 11:45 A.M. today, October 24th.

The Syracuse Academy of Science High School will be offering the PSAT on Wednesday, October 10th. Please be sure to get a good night's rest the night before, and a full breakfast. The PSAT/NMSQT is the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. The PSAT is a great primer for the SAT, and even the ACT, but it’s more than just a trial run. PSAT scores are used to identify National Merit Scholars and award merit scholarships. More than 3.4 million high school students take this nationwide, multiple-choice test every year. 

At the Syracuse Academy of Science, we believe in helping kids learn about the importance of saving, earning, and even investing money. We partnered with Empower Federal Credit Union and are a participating Dollar Dog school. Your #SASAtom has the chance to deposit money into their Dollar Dog Account. Deposit days are every other Wednesday at the Middle School, and every other Tuesday at the Elementary school.

Come into the Chipotle at 3600 W Genesee St in Syracuse on Monday, October 29th between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Bring in this flyer, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you're supporting the cause to make sure that 33% of the proceeds will be donated to Syracuse Academy Of Science Middle School.

Online orders will not be included in the fundraiser total. To ensure your purchase is counted in the fundraiser, be sure to 'order and pay in-restaurant. Gift card purchases during fundraisers do not count towards total donated sales, but purchases made with an existing gift card will count.

Starting on Monday, September 10th our book fair will be available for students and their families. It will go until Friday, September 14th. We will have three session times throughout the day that your child will be able to browse and purchase books. The first session will be from 7:45am-8:05 a.m., the second session will be from 10:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. and the third session will be from 3:00pm-3:30 p.m. We are looking forward to seeing you and your children at this event!

The Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary and Middle School will be hosting their Open House events this Wednesday, September 12th, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Come to tour our school and meet your student's teachers.
