Tuesday, August 13, 2019—The 2019 - 2020 school year is approaching quickly. This year, there have been updates to the start and end time, as well as, the Bell Schedule for our Syracuse Academy of Science schools. Please view the times and schedules below for your student's respective school.
Elementary - The school day will begin at 7:45 AM and will conclude at 3:30 PM
Middle School - Below is their Full Day Bell Schedule
High School - Below are their Bell Schedules for the following: Full Day, Awards only, 2 Hour Delay and Award/Pep Rally. In the instance of a half-day, the students schedules will be alternating between Periods 1-4 and Periods 5-9.
Friday, August 9, 2019—It's the most wonderful time of the year, School Supply List time. While summer is still in full swing, we want to make sure our Atoms are prepared for the First Day of School on September 5th. Wednesday, August 7, 2019—Calling all parents/guardians of Fall Student Athletes. Join us this Saturday, August 10th for our Fall Sports Meeting. The meeting will be held at Syracuse Academy of Science High School in their main conference room at 1:00 PM. Sign up forms will be made available for you to complete. Please bring with you your students current physical.
The 2019 - 2020 Fall Sports include: Cheerleading, Modified Cross Country, Varsity Cross Country (both boys and girls), Modified Football, Varsity Football, JV Volleyball and Varsity Volleyball.
Friday, August 2, 2019—As the saying goes, "you are what you eat." But did you know that healthy eating and physical activity are just two components that can make up and help increase a students' ability to learn? Join us for our first ever Wellness Meeting on Wednesday, August 7th from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. We will be discussing topics such as:
- How an environment can support a students well-being
- How creating an environment can support a students' health and wellness
- How healthy eating and physical activity can support a students' ability to learn … and more!
The meeting will be held at Syracuse Academy of Science High School's main conference room. Please enter through the West Genesee Street entrance. Parking will be made available on Lakeview Avenue. We hope to see you there!
Attention all 9th-12th grade students, who need to complete the August Regents Exam, please mark your calendar for Tuesday, August 13th and Wednesday, August 14th. Regents Exams will begin at 8:15 AM. Please consult the schedule below for additional exam information.

This is a great way to stay up to date with all the latest events, holidays and more. Please note, the First Day of School is Thursday, September 5th. Have a great summer Atoms!
Attention all 9th - 12th grade students, Regents exams will kick-off on Monday, June 3rd at 9:15 AM. Regents exams will continue Tuesday, June 18th through Tuesday, June 25th. Students will be notified if they are required to take an exam or attend a review class. If students do not have a Regents exam or a Regents review class to attend, they will not need to come to school during that week. Please consult the schedule below for additional exam information.
The Syracuse Academy of Science High School has adjusted the schedule for March 28, 2019. High School students will now report for a full day of class, and not the originally scheduled half-day. Elementary and Middle School students will still only report for a half-day.
