SAS High School Schedule Change

The Syracuse Academy of Science High School has adjusted the schedule for March 28, 2019. High School students will now report for a full day of class, and not the originally scheduled half-day. Elementary and Middle School students will still only report for a half-day.

Are you interested in seeing our success for yourself? Visit our school and meet the staff during one of our open house events. They will be held at the Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary School, located at 4837 S. Salina St. Syracuse, NY 13205.

Shake it up!

Head down to Strong Hearts Cafe at 719 E. Genesee Street to enjoy a Frederick Douglas-themed milkshake called “The Journey.” The innovative milkshake was created by SAS 7th graders through a project-based learning initiative. All students, staff and SANY families wearing SANY gear will receive 20% off of their milkshake purchase (the discount only applies to “The Journey”). #PBL7

*The following regents have been rescheduled: Algebra1, U.S. History & Government, and Geometry. These exams were originally scheduled for January 23.

 

 

Regents exams will be held January 22nd - 25th for all 9th - 12th graders who need to take the exams. Students are notified if they are required to take a test or attend a review session. If students in grades 9 - 12 do not have a Regents exam or a Regents review class to attend, they will not need to come to school during that week. All 8th graders will attend school for half a day each day during Regents week and will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m.
